Your child is on the cusp of adulthood, independence, discovering who they are as a person, and their character. Our session will capture not only who they are, but also what they love, excel at today, and who they will be tomorrow. I create portraits with lasting value, showcasing just how uniquely awesome your child is, more than just pretty pictures in a well-lit studio. While each session includes some yearbook appropriate photos, in a traditional portrait style, you and your child will both treasure most the photos weaving in their favorite activities, their aspirations and passions.

easy 3-Step Plan.

First: Consultation

When you are ready to book your session, Email me or call 585-943-2386 and we'll start with a consultation meeting with you and your (soon-to-be) senior. There is no cost or obligation for the consultation, just an hour or so to sit down and chat about your son or daughter, their relationships, style, ideas, hobbies, passions and goals, and how we'll document that in an authentic and unique way. We'll pick a date for the session itself, finalizing locations, ideas, concepts, wardrobe and every last detail before your session. We are limited only by where we have permission to go and our imaginations!

Second: Session

Once we have completed the consultation, we'll have booked a date for their portraits, and then the awesomeness starts. Have them come ready to have a lot of fun, be relaxed, bring a friend if they like, and let me work my magic. I promise you'll be blown away.

Third: Presentation

This is probably the BEST and MOST IMPORTANT part. About a week after the session, we'll meet in your home or at a comfortable location, and present your photographs so you can oooh and aah over all your awesome portraits (and it's OK to cry). This is the first time you'll see your portraits (except perhaps a sneak peek on facebook). This is the final meeting, and we will narrow down to your favorite portraits and then make ALL decisions in regards to your portrait order. The presentation takes about 1.5 hours to finalize your package and I'll be there to help you every step of the way. No pressure sales or lame products like other studios, just real artwork unique to you, and crazy awesome portraits. I'll make it as easy and awesome as possible. In about 2-3 weeks you'll be able to come back and pick up your order and start sharing your senior portrait awesomeness!

My mission with senior portraits is to create photos with more meaning and a personalized touch beyond what you could ever possibly get in a studio. Not only will you have awesome photos for yearbook + grandma, you will also have pieces of artwork with a personal meaning for you. I want to give you photos that authentically represent who you are today, and who you want to be tomorrow.

I use fully insured professional photo equipment & am prepared with complete backup systems and a few too many film cameras. In addition to being passionate about weddings and portraits, I enjoy sports & nature photography for leisure. I particularly enjoy astrophotography, capturing the grandeur of the heavens, staying up all night freezing my butt off to get the best images possible. I would be glad to talk about your passions-- because that's where we get inspiration for your session from.
